MCC joins more than 1,900 college and universities across the United States and in U.S. territories that welcome active duty service members, veterans and their families on their campuses.
Nancy Ray-Mitchell, instructor of business at McLennan Community College, has been selected as a Piper Professor of 2012 by the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation.
Students taking classes from MCC and from partner schools through the University Center can now take advantage of free individual counseling through a new partnership with Tarleton State University.
McLennan Community College (MCC) offers a progressive education at an affordable cost. Students choose MCC for a variety of reasons, but most want to meet occupational requirements, develop intellectual abilities and increase their future earning power. An impressive 89 percent of students say they would recommend the college to others, compared with the national average of 77 percent.
